Hi, my name is Janine and I am a Reiki Master/Teacher. I have been studying Reiki since 2001.  At that time when I took Level I, it touched me in a way that I've never experienced before. I felt compassion and love for myself and others and I couldn't wait to learn more! Taking Reiki II and III were wonderful as they taught me how I could not only help myself, but how I could help others.  That is my purpose.....to help all I can, including animals!  I never dreamt I would go on to the Master/Teacher level because I was so content at the other levels.  I was enjoying it so much and my urge to help others became so strong that I had to learn to 'teach' others about this wonderful thing called "REIKI"....

Reiki is "energy"....Our bodies, the earth, everything......is made up of energy and Reiki is a way of balancing this energy within ourselves to keep us relaxed and healthy....body,mind and soul.  When our energy is out of balance it effects us in many different ways. Anger, emotional turmoil, pain......to name just a few. We are all born with the ability to channel (or use) Reiki. It is our birthright. Whether or not we choose to learn it is a very personal decision.  If you choose to learn Reiki you begin with Reiki Level I which is for healing ourselves on the 'inside'.  You will be amazed how good you feel!  Reiki not only helps heal our emotional issues, it also helps with all those aches and pains.  Once the body is relaxed, it can then heal.  This is what Reiki does.  It is for total relaxation....stress reduction......so the body can heal.

Reiki Level I is all about healing 'you'!  Your ability to channel Reiki will be opened and you will learn how to heal and balance your own energy to bring inner peace, love and companssion inter your life.  You will sleep great and learn how to 'relax' and even get rid of that headache or pain you're having!  If you decide you want to help others, you would then move on to Level II. At this level you will learn that there is a spiritual side of Reiki.  Although Reiki is not a religion, it IS spiritual.  Learning how to work with your "Reiki Guides" is an awesome experience! We all have helpers, whether you want to call them Angels or Guides, that help us in everyday life and they also come to help us when we give Reiki to others. It's a beautiful experience and the end result is what makes it so special......the person you are helping feels marvelous!!!  At this level you will learn sacred Reiki Symbols that will "pump up the power", if you will, of your healing ability.  Learning Level III brings in a major Reiki Symbol and advanced techniques with helping others.  Your spiritual connection is deepened and your life purpose becomes clearer.

I hope you will consider having a Reiki Treatment or talk to someone who has.  It's a relaxing, soothing experience and the effects last well beyond that day.  Reiki has powerful healing abilities. You will sleep great, you will be totally relaxed and calm and you may get rid of that annoying headache you've had for years, or even see the pain in your lower back lessened, or totally removed! The Healing abilities of Reiki are Endless!  The healing results are different with everyone.....and always for the highest good of the patient.  If you are trying to find a method for helping you find inner peace, give a class a try.  You won't be disappointed! If you just need some way to help you de-stress, this is a PERFECT way to get totally relaxed!  I have many healing stories that I have personally witnessed and I would love to share them with you.  I hope you'll give Reiki a try and see for yourself!
